Your Guide To Sacred Self Care

Usha Anandi. 8 | SEPTEMBER | 2020

If we’re not careful, many of us find ourselves on a hamster wheel – running towards some made up goal that we’re told we “need” to achieve in order to be successful.

Unfortunately, by the time we get there – many of us find that we’ve traded our health for material wealth. We find ourselves numb, fatigued, and disconnected from a sense of meaning, purpose, or direction in life.

I know there’s another way.

I believe that when we learn how to live a well-paced, balanced lifestyle we’re able to bring health back to the body.

We can reconnect to the inherent radiance that resides within us, reclaim our inner rhythm, heal disordered living and return to a cyclical way of living.

If you’d like to learn my favorite practice to care for yourself and your womb, click the link below to download my FREE Guided Self-Womb Massage.

In just 10 minutes, I’ll teach you how to start using this practice yourself to experience deep relaxation, clear stagnation and increase circulation in your womb.

And one of the best ways we can heal hormonal imbalance and return to our innate rhythm is through REST.

But here’s the thing about rest…

Most of us know we need to rest, we just DON’T KNOW HOW!

And I feel you there.

If you’re anything like me, you probably weren’t brought up to respect the finite capabilities of your energy and your body.

When I was younger I would jump from one activity to the next with barely a chance to take a breath and run to the toilet in between.

Instead of encouragement to rest, I was pushed to do more. Never had I ever been told about the importance of not taking on too much.

We’ve been led to believe that our productivity is equal to our worth. And as soon as we are unable to produce, produce and produce then we are worthless.

So we push ourselves. We take on too much. And we never ever give ourselves the break that we deserve.

We’re constantly running pretty darn close to empty.

And I think we all know what happens after too long…

Burnout.

But I believe when we allow ourselves to reclaim the magic of living slow, balanced and meaningful lives we are one step closer to living in optimal health and vitality.

If we take the time to tune into what our body needs, follow sacred self-care rituals, eat according to our innermost needs and move in a way that supports our unique bodies and hormonal changes we will experience deep and meaningful healing.

Because self-care is not a luxury. It’s a necessity.

And it doesn’t have to look like hours of meditation, or long drawn out practices. Self-care can be practised in 5 minutes or 5 hours.

When you give yourself permission to reframe the way you look at self-care, you’ll soon find that there is no excuse to not take care of yourself!

And that’s why I’m sharing with you one of the my favorite self-care ritual that will get all you the most bang for your buck.

Because believe me, after years of living out of a suitcase I’ve had to get pretty crafty with my self-care rituals…
